Project Management
Lead learning design projects targeted to specific institutional needs, priorities and strategies.
Initiation
First phase in the Project Management Life Cycle, as it involves starting up a new project. You can start a new project by defining its objectives, scope, purpose and deliverables to be produced.
Planning
The planning phase is when the project plans are documented, the project deliverables and requirements are defined, and the projectschedule is created. It involves creating a set of plans to help guide your team through the implementation and closure phases of the project.
Closure
Handing over the deliverables to your customer, passing the documentation to the business, cancelling supplier contracts, releasing staff and equipment, and informing stakeholders of the closureof the project.
The Challenge.
Tricoci University uses CRM software to recruit new students and the company adopted new software: Leadsquared. The company’s admissions staff, who number about 30, has a rudimentary but growing knowledge on how to use the software system as a result of “on-the-job” experience and scaffolding by management, but there is an instructional need for the advisors to use the tool effectively on their own for recruitment and reporting activities.
The Solution.
Engage in the project management process: Initiation, Planning and Closure. Working with Leadsquared as the subject matter expert, I was able to develop a course that resolves the challenge.
